“For His anger is but for a moment,

And His favor is for a lifetime.

Weeping may tarry for the night,

But joy comes with the morning.”

Let’s Pray

Father,

Sometimes I don’t know what is going on. I can’t see straight, and it seems to me like You are no longer with me. Let my mind turn to this verse in such times. Bring to my remembrance the truth that no matter how long my night may be, You will fill me with joy in the morning. This verse brings to my heart gratefulness, and I rejoice to know that there is always a promise of joy in the future, whether on this earth or in heaven. Help me to remember the favor You show toward me. I pray that You will help me to continue to hold fast to the truth of Your love and favor even in my darkest nights. I praise You for the joy You give to me!

In Your Son’s Name I pray,
